Extended Stay America Select Suites- Chicago - Westmont - Oak Brook

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Extended Stay America – Oak Brook / Westmont, and I cannot say enough great things about Ariana. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made the entire stay feel easy and welcoming. Ariana’s customer service was by far the best I’ve experienced at any extended stay hotel. She was patient, attentive, and always willing to help with a genuine smile. You can truly tell she cares about the guests and takes pride in her work. Because of Ariana, this location stands out in every way. If you’re considering staying here, ask for Ariana — you will be in the best hands. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I have to start by saying that any 5-star review that either starts out by talking up the staff or ONLY talks up the staff are likely fake because probably the WORST thing about this place is the staff. I ended up moving into this hotel with my father around a month ago when our previous living situation was obstructed. The room itself was not EXTREMELY terrible like some of these reviews highlight, however I can only speak for the one room me and my father stayed in given I had a friend staying here earlier this year and their room looked a bit different. The only problems we really had with the room was, right off the bat, the door would not work/not open and often could not read the cards we were given. I have to finish this review on my main account, as google maps limited how much I could type, and the worst thing that'd happened to me and my father I didn't even get to START talking about. After being told we would have to leave the hotel for 24 consecutive hours because we had reached a "28 day mark," we went about our stay as normal and began to pack our things because, again, we were LIVING in this hotel due to an unfortunate situation with our old apartment. Only two days later, Saturday morning, my father was out making the daily hotel fee as he always did leaving me alone at hotel.
