Extended Stay America - Montgomery - Eastern Blvd.

Why oh why didn't I just lose out on the $103.00 through Expedia and run out not walk. The bathroom had not been cleaned either. I had tub of disinfecting wipes and cleaned the toilet ( couple go rounds) sink, counter,remote, etc. . Ridiculous of me to do all this and not leave.

Positive: a few miles away from downtown Montgomery and proximity to several restaurants and retail stores Negative: My room and the facility were unclean and the elevator was not working. Long term guests which I surmise may be homeless individuals. Initially I was checked into a room where the deadbolt was compromised n door frame damaged. Not secure

They only have select renovated rooms. I was drawn in by what they advertise online. I thought all the rooms would be exceptional. I put in a reservation for an updated room online and got an outdated, partially cleaned room. They have these high prices for rooms that are not worth the hype. Yes the location is good but your paying to stay in a comfortable, clean place and I didn't get that. Of course, the kitchen was a displeasure. The microwave was missing the vent cover. The stove hood was cover in severe grease stains that has been there for years. I was scared to cook anything uncovered. The sink in the kitchen had a slow drain and when looked it was greasy, grey stuff in the drain. The refrigerator made weird noises and had rust stains on it and just strains that bleach could not rem

I booked a room June 29 & checked out on July 3rd.we went to Montgomery, Alabama to surprise our family. But the hotel that we stayed at was the worst experience in my life for a hotel we stayed there 3 years ago and it is not the same as you can tell by the pictures I uploaded. The last two nights we had roaches in the room. They came to spray we still came back and saw roaches. About checking out and leaving I unpacked all our clothes shook everything out and had to repack to make sure not to take anything with us. I had to wipe down the room with fabuloso and bleach. I would not recommend anybody to stay there before checking the reviews.. not a clean room at all

Positive: The staff was great. Negative: Massive roaches. Room smelled. Not clean. Dirty bad sheets and nasty mattress.
