Eve's Garden Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at Eve’s Garden before our trip to Big Bend! The garden was beautiful and felt like an oasis in the desert. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout our stay—homemade cookies, beverages always available in the kitchen, blankets for star gazing, a delicious breakfast. Kate and Alaine truly made it feel like home away from home, we look forward to visiting again!

I'm not sure I have enough superlatives to adequately describe the fantastic stay we had here. We stayed 4 nights, and I wish it had been a week. The flowers, the breakfasts, the quietness and peaceful gardens, the gracious host. The weather didn't allow us to use the observation deck for star gazing, but the sunsets were beautiful. The best location for exploring Big Bend area. If we didn't live so far away, I would go and stay just for the ambiance and peacefulness.

I cannot say enough great things about this place, our hosts, the breakfast or the accommodations. We have gone to Marathon most years for our Anniversary and knew about Eve's Garden and had visited, but finally decided to stay this year...and I think we found OUR place. The owners treat you like you are family who you've known your whole life. They are so kind, and make a KILLER breakfast for you every morning of your stay. Each day was something different and unique and delicious! The room was perfect, the garden is gorgeous, and the views from the roof top terrace are to die for. We can hardly wait to come back next year. I would 100% recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Marathon. It is a TRUE B&B with good vibes, kind people, and sweet puppies to greet you when you come back home...

We had such a memorable stay at Eve’s Garden, and it honestly became one of the highlights of our trip. The rooms initially showed as fully booked online, but we called and were able to secure a room last minute. We spoke directly with Elaine, the owner and operator, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had shifted our plans and started our trip a day earlier than expected to avoid bad weather in Central Texas, and she made the whole process easy and stress-free. The B&B itself is totally unique and makes for a truly cool, one-of-a-kind stay. The common area is such a great touch — with beer on tap and coffee always available, it immediately feels relaxed and communal. I absolutely LOVE staying at Eve's Garden Bed & Breakfast! I have stayed there many times both as part of a group and also with a couple of buddies. It is consistently my favorite place in all of Texas to stay. Family owned, eco-friendly built and artfully decorated it is truly a delight, comfort and joy to stay at. Oh, and the breakfasts that Alaine prepares are exquisite! Stay tuned for her cookbook being published soon! Hooray!
