Everglades City Motel - Everglades Adventures Inn

A tiny yet comfy bungalow, easy walk to a diner. No remote for the ceiling fan/light & the light over bathroom mirror strobed like a 70's rock club. But, a quiet, enjoyable stay. Could use a closet rod or wall hooks but for our two night stay enroute to points south, worked for us. The price was definitely right. Friendly front desk staff (check-in is off premises at the Ivey).Old Motor Lodge style lodging on the cusp of the glades.

Positive: Excellent location. Very clean and well updated considering the price. Staff at check in very friendly and very kind. Negative: Not the hotels fault, but heed warnings about the mosquitos. You may also find small geckos and frogs sneaking in.

Large clean comfy room. The only minor drawback is that the AC unit was slightly noisy and was right beside the bed, and the thermostat was 20 feet away on the wall, so your feet can get rather cold by the time the thermostat finally shuts it off.|Nice screened in pool which in February is at quiite a “refreshing” temperature. |Very friendly staff, but was rather surprised they did not inform us of the city’s temporary “boil water notice” that was in effect Feb 25-28, 2025.|You can walk to Camellia Street Grill for a great fish dinner, and walk to the Circle K convenience store for sundries.

This is a 1950s style motel, which has been upgraded. The upgrades are nice. The bathrooms are modern and very comfortable. The room was immaculate. Still, it is a basic hotel room and $225 a night was quite a bit to pay It is incredibly convenient to anything you might want to do in Everglades city. Check-in was effortless at another hotel just half a mile away. And they let us check in early.

Its a typical motel. Checkin is in a different building up the road, no services on site. The rooms themselves are a good size, the beds could be better, but you get what you pay for here. Rooms were clean, tho the cleaning staff seemed a little overworked with one of our rooms not yet cleaned when we arrived.
