Estate on the Lake

We had the most amazing experience here with Denise after we were stranded and she let us charge our Tesla here! It is a beautiful property that I will definitely be returning to if I find myself looking for somewhere to stay in sandpoint area. Complete with a gorgeous butterfly garden and gold fish pond. She let my little sister feed her fish and told us all kinds of amazing facts about butterflies! Thank you Denise!

Just celebrated our 50th anniversary here at this B&B. Found this place by mistake but this is a future destination....oh yeah, booked a room for October so we can celebrate my 70th birthday as well. Denise and Cary go beyond expectation of any kind. They have thought of everything and make you feel so special. This couple share their beautiful home to strangers and you're treated as if you are family. If you want beauty, a quiet setting, daily surprise treats, lake views, wildlife, hiking trails, if your into music (there is a large music room for quests), if you want to cook your meals there is a gourmet kitchen at your disposal, if you love art (Cary's art work and sculptures are beautiful), and a dock on the lake to relax and enjoy the water. Thank you both for your awesome hospitality! The way you “take care” of us as your guests was unparallelled! You do it with love and joy. The special touches in the room to make us comfortable was a real surprise and a delight. Your kindness, attention to detail, cleanliness, humor and so much more makes this stay so unforgettable. It began the second we talked on the phone to the very end. Bed so comfy! Great Shower! We also love the art and the view. May God bless your home even the more.

The evening prior to our departure I wrote this: Oh the dock! And the tub! The well stocked kitchen! Delightful gardens! Ode to joy! Even as the rains came mightily and quite consistently today, I love the ambience of our bright, yet cozy Suite #1. It is lovely to look out onto the garden, fresh and full of color and life and through the other picture windows, at the expanse of lake, windblown and wild, from the warmth of this lovely space. I love your attention to detail, to color, to flowers inside and out, to fabric and art and antiques...galore! Thank you both for looking out for our every need with generosity and enthusiasm. This is most definitely a *****5 Star resort. We slept so well in this peaceful, calming, quiet space and do so appreciate all that you have artfully given.

We are so grateful for our hosts to let us charge our car at their Tesla destination charger. What a beautiful property. We really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and going to The Dish restaurant on the lake. This VRBO is beautiful and we cannot wait for us to book a stay there.
