Envue, Autograph Collection

We had a wonderful stay at Envue, Autograph Collection! The room itself was extremely clean, and the view of the NYC skyline across the Hudson right from our room was absolutely amazing -such a great touch. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. Although we didn’t eat at the rooftop restaurant, we did spend time at the rooftop bar and the views were incredible. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely stay again!!

We like that it was across the street from ferry; I have never taken ferry into Manhattan. The parking is relatively inexpensive $18 per 24 hours and access into hotel was convenient. The hotel room was spacious, well decorated, clean, and stocked with great coffee. The service was excellent as we needed extra towels and they came up very quickly. We especially loved the rain shower. There is an indoor pool but we didn't get a chance to use it. We definitely would return.

From the time we arrived, we could tell this place had been way over hyped online. No clear parking (it’s a separate garage with a separate set of elevators for you to transfer), zero security staff in the lobby, and basically a bunch of clueless kids “in charge.” There was ONE LUGGAGE CART for the entire hotel, no room service, toilet clogged immediately, the lighting in the room is impossible to figure out, breakfast just ran out of everything. Each part of our stay was extremely frustrating. No one appeared to be in charge, it was kind if a free for all. The only positive parts were the view (if you book a room facing the skyline) and cleanliness.

The main advantage of this hotel is its stunning view of the Manhattan skyline — it’s truly one of the best. The ferry terminal is conveniently located right next to the property, making transportation easy. The interior design is also modern.However, since the pandemic, the facilities feel somewhat outdated, and the cleanliness and maintenance standards have unfortunately declined.

Let me start by saying, I take reviewing “very serious” and this is my heartfelt opinion as well as experience. I stayed at the EnVue Hotel in Weehawken for about 7/8 nights and unfortunately my experience did not reflect Marriott’s noted policy of high integrity, high standards ,and responsibility. I checked in with a manager by the name of “WILL” (who is supposed to be leaving thankfully) he chuckled when I asked if they had a bellhop to assist with bags being that my daughter is disabled and we needed help with suitcases, he directed me to a wobbly cart that had a mind of its own(it was after 7pm I believe) it was not a busy time period, if I noted a stranger in the street struggling I would of helped or asked someone to assist.
