Ellis House Trail Lodging

This was a great place to stay for our trip to ride the HMT trails. The house was spacious, well stocked, clean and had a great location close to both the town and the trails. Large parking area, and a great setup outside the house as well with chairs, firepit, and even cornhole game for a relaxing evening. Donnie and Robin were great hosts. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Gilbert even if you aren't riding the trails. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Just spent 4 days here and what an awesome experience! Near the trail access and town. 20 minute ride to the wild horses. The house can accommodate a larger group and has everything you need! Everything was spotless. Plenty of parking and security cameras all around the house. The owners were more than helpful and always willing to help and checking in to see if there was anything we needed. Able to purchase our passes right at the house. We can't wait to go back. I will say the only thing Gilbert is missing are some good restaurants but highly recommend the Mexican one in town. There is a full kitchen, fire pit or grill at the house for cooking!

I probably shouldn't tell you what a amazing place this is so that way I can book my next trip. But here we go this place is the cleanest nicest place I've stayed at in a long time. The owners are the nicest people I think you will ever meet. They were more then happy to answer and help us with any questions we had and got our riding permits supplied us with very good maps. Honestly my whole family can't stop talking about what great people they are. Truly the best place to stay for a large group or family!!!

Had a great time and could not of asked for anything more from the owners. They provided everything we could want to assist with our stay. Only sorta down side was some of the beds were too stiff for our liking but that is an opinion. Would not have any issues coming back and we will come back and use them again. Easy access to trail 12 across the road. Right next to town and easy drive on the road to other trail accesses if need be.

Amazing rental house with excellent location and parking. Everything needed to have an amazing riding weekend was provided!
