Ella's Motel

Awesome, stayed for two nights. My wife and I were very impressed with the owner she was so pleasant to be around. Reasonable, quiet walk to the beach. We look forward to our next visit. The room and bedding were very clean. There is a gas station across the street as well as a coffee shop.

Such a lovely motel with a very B&B vibe. We were warmly welcomed. It was such a pleasure to meet the family who owns Ella's. We travel to Barnegat Light every year for Running-for-Joy5k but this was the first time we stayed overnight. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathrooms are large and clean with good water pressure. The delicious breakfast was served to order by the family in a bright homey kitchen. I look forward to returning again this year and would recommend Ella's to anyone.

Autumn is one of the nicest people I have met; she is perfect in her job. The room is very basic but super clean. We had two double beds, a chair, a decent sized closet, a chest of drawers and a night table between the beds. A table on which to eat would be a nice addition but we managed. The lighting is adequate and there are windows for air plus AC/heat as needed. There is just a shower but the water pressure and temp are great. It's a very short walk across the road right to the beach. Very nice place and reasonable.

We spent one night here during a last minute LBI trip in mid-September and were happy to find Ella's still open for the season! The room is small and basic but was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom appeared to be at least partially remodeled somewhat recently which was nice. The room had a TV with cable, two double beds, and one chair. Not a lot of room to hang out but two people with not a lot of luggage were perfectly comfortable. The place is definitely older (and smells like an old beach house) but kept clean and for the price (under $100 on a weeknight in September) it is one of the better deals on LBI.

This place was cute, old fashioned and rustic. But it was very clean and the cable tv had so many channels to choose from. The only thing was the lighting. I need more lights where the dresser was due to bad eyesight. And perhaps a small table can be added under the tv for eating. But we were there for a reunion and it was just what we needed. The women who runs the place was super nice and helpful.
