Well maintained campsite with friendly staff. I rented a travel trailer for the first time and expected the sites to be similar to rest stops where you pull in directly. A park manager guided me into backing up a 26ft trailer in the dark! I appreciate the patience and holding in the laughter of a clown show that must have been to witness 😂.

We booked this campground because of the good rating and the swimming beach at the river! The beach area was very small but that was still the best thing about this campground! Nothing was paved, the camp area was rocky and rough, not nice for children. Lots of long term campers, which gave it a trashy feel. The shade trees were nice, but their water source left much to be desired. It was well water, which was very yellow and smelled like rotten eggs 😝 the owners were friendly and nice, so I’ll give 3 stars but we probably wouldn’t come back again.

My family and I had such a blast staying here this weekend. The lady's the help out at the campground are so nice! They have movie nights, and left games out for my Littles to play with. Definitely going to come back!

Well, we attempted to stay here but it was a bad time of year…. The clamping tent smelled like mold and mildew and was covered in caterpillars and crickets, and the single supposed twin bed wouldn’t fold out so we slept on the ground with the dog. We couldn’t wait to leave. The bathroom wasn’t locked and ppl came from across the campgrounds to use this one I think because it was supposed to be cleaner than the others? There wasn’t really anything to do nearby, and the trailer park that was attached is VERY sketchy at night and I would NOT recommend walking the trail at night esp as a woman. You could literally smell the chemicals of the meth the closer you came so we turned around pretty quick. If you wanted to make sure guests felt accommodated, my best suggestion would be a self inflatin

Renaissance faire here in April! It was good. Nice people and fun joust. Definitely worth a trip but the food wasn’t the best sorry you all were so nice but food was mediocre at best.
