Elk View Inn

We had an unforgettable week-long stay at Elk View Inn in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was wonderful to talk with and truly made our experience even better. They offered great tips on when and where to see wildlife, and thanks to their advice, we were lucky enough to spot hundreds of elk and several moose up close during our trip! The on-site restaurant served delicious meals. While the prices were a bit higher, the quality and flavor made it worth it. Plus, the waitresses added a lot of charm to each meal with their great sense of humor and friendly service. The lodge also has a fantastic gift shop—not just full of fun souvenir

This is a quaint hotel and restaurant in the mountains. It is clean and comfortable, but the real appeal is the location and what you can see around it. The restaurant is clean and we have always had good meals there. Staying here often, we have seen moose down the road, sometimes elk, and always deer with their babies. You are in the center of the Big Horns and can take day trips to Sibley Lake, visit Prune Creek and drive a short distance to Shell Falls. Elk View is a great option.

Beautiful location, fabulous food, lots of side-by-side’s and snowmobiles available for rental and has a gorgeous gift shop. It’s a great place to stop and visit, but I don’t recommend trying to plan an event there. I had a terrible experience when trying to plan my wedding reception there. The owner, Heather, was very scatterbrained and unprofessional. I tried planning my wedding reception there and it was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. Could not get straight answers from the owner and I scheduled a meeting and tour three months prior to the wedding and came all the way from PA and the owner, Heather, completely forgot I was coming!!!! We were scheduled to leave the next day but had to delay leaving in order to be able to meet with her. During our meeting she was rushing us

We rented a UTV from Elk View Inn today and are extremely happy with our experience. Very friendly staff! Steve went well above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with the equipment and helped point us toward the best trails. We saw tons of Moose on our adventure. We will be back!

Awesome place! Food is great! The campground is great! Rented a UTV and had a great time checking out the Awesome views and wildlife. We saw our first Moose here!
