Elk Mountain Cabins

This was the perfect location to stay after finishing BDR section 2. We rented two cabins to use as a shower, bathrooms, and a kitchen. Cabins were extremely clean, cozy, and well maintained. We setup camp on the property to take in the nature sounds, smells, and fresh air. But spent the evening lounging around a big table. I look forward to returning here again in the future and spending more time.

Great place to stay! The cabin was just what I needed for a week of elk hunting. It was clean, comfortable and had a well-stocked kitchen. Lou is a gem and a wonderful host! She makes sure you have everything you need for your stay.

Lou is a wonderful host. Check-in was easy and she ensured that we had everything we needed. She also frequently checked in during our stay. The cabin itself was cozy and well furnished. It was exactly what we needed for our winter escape! Temperatures fell below 0 almost every night and the cabin stayed warm. I would highly recommend Lou and Elk Mountain Cabins!

Home away from home❤️Love this place!! The cabins are adorable and comfortable. I never tire of looking at the beautiful gardens. Lou is the best host, we look forward to every stay.

I am about a year late with this review. We came here during the pandemic last year to escape the city for a few days. First, Lou is a great host and incredibly personable. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay. Not only was the cabin in great shape, but had all the amenities needed. This place is very dog friendly which we were so excited about, the owners themselves have two great pyrenese that are extremely friendly. There is tons of wildlife throughout the small town and is a short drive to Medicine Bow National forest. I highly recommend Elk Mountain Cabins and will return soon!
