EDNA STAR LAUNDRY AND MOTEL

Our dryer went out, so while we're waiting on a part, we went and used their dryers. Very clean facility and nice, huge Speed Queen dryers! Nice, big tables for folding clothes and nice rolling laundry baskets. Very reasonably priced, as well! Also available are restrooms and a snack machine! We'll definitely return should the need arise!

Every time I am Edna, I return to the Edna Star for their clean, comfortable, well priced rooms and friendly service. Don’t miss breakfast next store at the Taco food trailer and dinner at Pinto Bean across the street. And where else can you check in for the night and leave in the morning with your clothes washed and folded!

Rooms need better cleaning. Pretty much a bare bones motel. King size bed was $70 a night. Hotel staff was great. The tub didn't drain like it should. Same issue in a few other rooms. A few random hairs found on the bed sheets, although they smelled freshly washed.

This small, family run motel is a modern throwback. The room had all the comforts - drive up to room, carpet-free, cool A/C, huge flat screen, nice bed, hot shower, quiet night. Bonus: welcoming staff, dog friendly. No smoke smell whatsoever. Super clean given the connected laundry. Book direct - maybe save yourself and these nice folks some money. BTW Dos Hermanos was an amazing dinner.

Quick disclaimer: i didn't rate the rooms cuz i do not have a spot at the motel. I only come here to do laundry. Its a great place to get your laundry done as quickly and as efficiently as possible. I do have a few complaints tho. For starters, y'all NEED to be open 24 hours. I get off work at 7:30 and would like to be able to come and wash laundry before I get home. Or for emergency late night trips when i need clean clothing for the next day. Second problem is that the vending machines are almost always nearly empty. Otherwise, its an absolutely amazing place. Close to home, easy to use, and can't recommend enough. Please extend your washateria hours to 24 tho.
