Edgewater Inn

Have stayed here several times. Quiet, clean and safe. Rooms have recently been remodeled, new paint and up to date decor.

This is a nice little place just outside of town. Appears to be recently renovated and a clean motel. Parking lot recently paved and parking for truckers available in adjacent lot. It was quiet and no signs of nonsense when I was there.

Overall the hotel was OK. Front desk people were very friendly. Pool was nice but hot tub was not in operation. Breakfast was very limited. Coffee, fruit, pastries, cereal. We book hotels based on good breakfasts, costs and pool available. This hotel was priced reasonable but not a good breakfast. Would recommend for the price if breakfast isn't what you need. Visited Kings Canyon and Sequoia Parks from here but was over an hour drive to each. Recommend going early as traffic gets bad later in the day.

my family + I stayed here as a home base for our trips to Sequoia + Kings Canyon. only around an hour to the entrance which allowed us to get in early + easily. the town has anything you could need within 5 miles. rooms were simple + clean, just had difficulty with the shower turning on (pull the tub nozzle down!)

This hotel was exceptionally clean and their housekeeper, who has worked there for 9 years, was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was Continental, the pool clean and well maintained. The property is surrounded by beautiful flowers, citrus trees and other local plants. I watched the landscape meticulously care for it all. If you want towels formed into animal shapes, this isn't the place for you. If you want clean and comfortable, pleasant guests to share space with (thank you to the gentlemen that shared their homemade guacamole with my husband and I) and a staff that takes great pride in their work... This is your home away from home.
