Edgewater Cabins

There is no better fun in the summer than Edgewater Cabins on the Schoodic Peninsula! Roger and Betsy are the best! They do everything to make your stay comfortable. Their cabins are perfect for families or couples. We stayed in a two bedroom with our two toddlers. It is only 30-40 mins drive to Bar Harbor.

Unbelievable views. Huge lawn on which to hang out or throw a frisbee. Boats with which to play, or you could bring your own. Well-stocked, well ventilated, comfortable cabins with plenty of parking. Chilled out owners. Reasonable pricing.

If you are looking for a simple, cozy cabin with the best views for your Maine and Acadia vacation, this is the place. Everyone was so welcoming and lovely, the beds comfortable and did I mention the views? I loved all of the picnic tables and Adirondack chairs strategically placed around the property To watch the sunrise, sunset or just take in the view.

We love Edgewater Cabins! We have been coming almost yearly since around 2010 and it is one of our favorite places on earth. We have stayed in 3 different cabins, and all of them has an ocean view from every window. Our favorite one is the Green House. The accommodations are very well kept, clean and comfortable. It's location is spectacular and close to alot of wonderful places. It's about 45 minutes (depending on traffic) to Acadia National Park and all that Bar Harbor has to offer. It's about 25-35 minutes from Winter Harbor (such a pretty place, and home of 2021 number 1 Lobster Roll) and the Schoodic Peninsula which is the quieter section of Acadia NP, but IMHO even more beautiful. The setting is simply beautiful...just what we wanted to see from our porch...wildflowers, the bay, Acadia mtns in the background, pleasure boats and fishing boats dotting the water. What we especially liked about Edgewater is its peacefulness . The small cabin was efficiently setup and extremely clean. The hosts are lovely and very knowledgeable about everything in the area.
