Edgewater Beach Hotel

We really enjoyed our vacation at the Edgewater resort. The front desk is very accommodating and happy to help make your stay enjoyable. The beach is beautiful and there are plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We ordered lunch a couple days on the beach and the food comes out quickly. The pool and pool bar are nice as well. We booked the toes in the sand package which includes breakfast for two people (limit is $60 total) plus an umbrella, I highly recommend this package. Breakfast and lunch were very good, we did not eat dinner at the resort. We took the free shuttle to and from 5th Avenue for dinner. Highly recommend using the shuttle. Had a lovely stay here at the Edgewater Beach. You should know upfront that they charge an additional resort fee ($40/day per room) that is not included in the price. They do advertise it upfront so you can calculate in. Please also note that although the fee included beach chairs and towels, it does not include a beach umbrella (?) and you have to pay $30/ day if you want one. (and, you want one). ||Again… a note to all hotels and resorts: please simply include all expenses to stay at your resort in your published price. It feels slimy and wrong to do so after weve already agreed and paid to stay in your establishment. Thank you.||Those issues aside, the staff couldnt be nicer. Excellent front desk service

We had a great stay at the Edgewater Beach Hotel. Everything was excellent, from our gorgeous and comfortable room to the beach, pools, and delicious food and drinks. It's located in a perfect spot along the water but still in what feels like a quiet neighborhood. We had beautiful mornings running or biking around in the area, relaxing afternoons on the beach (be sure to walk the beach all the way North to the point to see pelicans, dolphins, jellyfish, egrets) and fun visits down to 5th Avenue South in the evenings. Every staff member was helpful and friendly - we would definitely return!

Everything about this hotel was flawless. The rooms were super nice, the beach access was quiet and clean, and all of the amenities were great. The best part of all was the service. Everyone we spoke to throughout the stay to was very nice and outgoing and seemed happy to be there for us. Special shoutout to all the servers and bartenders for going out of their way to check with us often and make sure our little toddler had food and drinks and everything he wanted provided for him to make our stay easier on us. We just stayed for a work Christmas party here but will definitely be back to visit in the future even though we live an hour away. Thank you to all the staff here, we really appreciate you guys
