Economy Inn

We had a great stay at Economy Inn in Paso Robles. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed while traveling through the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making check-in quick and easy. The location is also very convenient—close to restaurants, gas stations, and not far from downtown Paso Robles. For the price, it’s a great value and a solid place to stay if you’re visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great hospitality!

There are several independently owned motels on Spring Avenue, this being one of them. Had I of been able to view actual room before paying for it, would have gone elsewhere. If there are remodeled rooms, I definitely was not in one; room was very small as was bathroom with shower (takes a bit to get hot water). Towels smelled clean but think towels some places put out to use on your vehicle are cleaner. Bedding smelled clean also but pillows (2) are not sanitized and are thin to almost point of being non-existent. Small television with 17 channels (4 are Spanish). Laminate floor in main room, feet were black after walking barefoot. A/C struggled to cool small room down. No sitting area. Did have microwave and refrigerator, m/w was dirty. Positive: Good shower, clean room. Heating worked well. Negative: Microwave and mini-frig did not work upon arrival; it was necessary to push the GFI button to activate

What’s not to like? The individual who appears to be the owner (thin gentleman with eyeglasses) is a nice, friendly man, at least room #101 comes with a small refrigerator/freezer that keeps your items ice cold, there’s a microwave, a decent size TV with a fair amount of channels, a powerful AC/heater and the water pressure is more than adequate. In addition the rates are very reasonable. I’ve stayed at hotels, paid at least an additional $50-$75, and had terrible water pressure, no microwave or refrigerator and a weak AC/heater. One more thing. Great location. Smart N’ Final is almost directly across the street, Jack in the Box and Little Caesar’s occupy the next two doors north and 7-11 is across the street from those two establishments. Stole $100 from me by charging my card after. Hard beds, brother couldn’t sleep because of the loud AC unit, smells and disrespectful owner. Do not spend your money with them. Definitely not even worth the $115, let alone $215. They deserve to fail
