Economy Inn Hollywood

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The room was extremely dirty, the bed sheets were filthy, and we found four cockroaches in the room. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable. We had to leave immediately and look for another hotel because it was impossible to stay there. We didn’t even sleep one minute in this place. On top of that, they never refunded our money. This place is a scam and a health hazard. Do NOT stay here. Save your money and your sanity.

I stayed as a female solo traveller. I was really happy with the location as it was close to central Hollywood, retail stores like target and the Metro. A little noisy as times as you would expected being centrally located. Basic rooms but for the price was really great. The owner is on site and available when needed. I would stay again for the great location and price!

Positive: They do not charge a security deposit at check in! Negative: There was no microwave in the rooms and surrounding area looks sketchy!

The room was very small and there were SO MANY ROACHES and other creatures. The bed was covered in mystery discolorations resembling blood and piss. For the price the room was ok, it’s next to everything and it’s not in too bad of an area. There are about 5 parking spots, so plan your trip accordingly. You get one toilet paper roll and around 2 pillows for each bed a night. The receptionist was nice overall, but they limited us to the pillows and towels we received apart of our room. Me along with all of my other friends staying woke up with many bug bites. And not to mention, we woke up to a knock on the door that turned into someone opening the door to check on us at around 6am. This place definitely had the weirdest vibe, but just know you get what you pay for.

The location was convenient for my friends and I girls night out for Valentine’s Day but everything else was awful. The man that checked us in was sweet and nice so that was good but the room was awful it smelled like cigarettes and room spray to try to cover the smell, the walls and doors were dirty and we saw a total of 6 bugs. We were so tired from our night out and wanted to sleep but once we saw the 6th bug we decided we needed to pack up and drive home, we drove home at 3am due to this issue- not to mention the bugs found in the fridge next to the food I had put inside there to save! I don’t know how they got in there but I had to throw my $20 meal out to be safe and was very upset. I tried calling to get a refund but the phone just rings no one is picking up.
