Great little motel for the price. For 70 something a night, you really can’t beat it! You get free door greetings by guest services because they are sitting out on the curb smoking just awaiting your arrival! ||It’s really great to know that someone is always waiting to assist where they can! ||We walked through the doors and almost couldn’t believe our eyes! The furniture in the small lobby came straight from the 90’s and took me right down memory lane to those moments where my uncles would crack open a cold one and smoke an entire pack of Marlboro reds in a old garage. I just can’t tell you how excited I was. ||The best part was walking through the second floor hallway where baskets of clothing lay outside of doors on the carpet. The carpet looked as though ir hadn’t been peed on in 29 m
The bed was rock hard, which made my back hurt. This made me toss and turn all night. But the bed was on a cheap metal frame with metal legs that scraped the wood floor whenever i moved. This caused an incredibly loud metallic scraping sound whenever i moved. So i spent all night with back pain, afraid to move, because moving made the most horrendous noise ive ever heard. The hotel could have put plastic or rubber feet on the legs but didnt. The rest of the room was nice, so i dont know why they went cheap on this, the most important part of the room.
I have stayed here multiple times, and will be returning to stay again in the future. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and I have no complaints. Great place for a stay!
The staff at check-in, on more than one occasion, showed no understanding of my circumstances. I work overnight shifts and simply asked if I could check in early and go to bed. Instead of any empathy, I was told it would cost $45, half the cost of the entire room. That makes no sense. The room itself was unacceptable. The fire alarm was missing, the refrigerator was inoperable with a towel shoved inside as a makeshift shelf, meaning I couldn’t store my food. I can provide photos as proof. Around the property, the issues only continued. There was a sign posted that the elevator was broken, yet I personally heard a staff member press the button, load her cleaning cart, and ride it down. ALL of the vending machines were either broken or completely empty, with signs directing guests to pay t
The personnel who were working at the hotel were very professional and accommodating. However, the building had a few issues that lowered the pleasure of my stay. The elevator was "out of order", the overall appearance of the building from the outside appeared to be run down and in need of some TLC, and the pool water had a sheen of oil on the water implying that the pool filter system is not working correctly. I understand the concept of you get what you pay for, but I think that for the price I paid, I didn't get what I paid for. I could have spend approximately $10 more a night and stayed at a better place within 1/8 of a mile.
