Econo Lodge Mifflintown

If I could leave a zero star review I would. Refused service to me. I have 2 children with me in an emergency situation, during the freezing weather, they Refused to give me and my 2 children a room. My was in hand ready to pay and they said they dont serve people from Lewistown. So blatant discrimination. They flat out said they wouldn't help because we're from Lewistown. If we're paying customers why does it matter? Not everyone goes to a hotel for fun or vacation. Some people just need a clean place to rest and shower. You Refused the simplest and one of the oldest services in America to a family for no reason. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone after that.

While the room was clean, the bed was large, but the mattress was hard and made noise when moving about and neither of us could sleep due to various noises. First the room heater kept coming on about every 15 minutes, with a noise too loud for us to fall asleep. Then there was a noise outside like an engine in a truck, or air brakes releasing, and then the alarm went off at 6am without us setting it. And then someone slammed their door very early in the am. Slept very little. One lightbulb in the bathroom was out, making it hard to do mirror stuff, and lastly the sink stopper didn't work, and the water would backup in the sink. We've stayed there twice before over a period of 5 years and for some reason, all three times we got the exact same room? All in all, it was not a pleasant e

Room was dirty, bath had hair in tub, shower head broken, tv did not work, a drunk threw up on our door from the hallway at 2 AM. Stayed 3 nights, requested room be cleaned, it wasn't. ONE clerk at desk working afternoon/ evenings was great, otherwise a disaster.

The place is getting run down even since the last time i stayed there. The cleaning could be a bit better, and the vending machine should be repaired. The staff was lovely and helpful.

Stayed here for a business trip for a couple days. The room smelled musty/moldy and the building/property are in dire need of updating. Room was mostly clean besides the smell and old carpet. Front desk workers were nice. I had to have the room key card reactivated everyday. There’s a truck stop on the same property and if you have a room facing the back lot, you’ll have to listen to trucks idling all night long.
