Budget Inn Mifflintown

Cancelled a reservation free of charge through and confirmed by booking.com and the hotel charged my credit card and refused to refund my money. I contacted the hotel several times and booking.com numerous times by phone (they hung up on me 95% of time) and emailed booking.com all requested documentation several times all with no results. Buyer beware.

Positive: Leaving Negative: No heat was on despite freezing temps. Heater didn't ever bring the temp through the night.

The hotel was in a safe location and the tv worked. The water pressure in the shower was not good, the bed wasn't very comfortable, the parking lot was being tarred, so very little parking available, and I could hear the person in the next rooms cell phone every time it vibrated. There is food and fuel nearby which is helpful. It is fine for a quick stay, but I wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night.

Booked a room for one night online, (preferably picked a room that it was for not smoked in and paid for a more expensive room that was listed as not smoked in) and when we got there the room smelled smoky and musky; they right away changed us into another room (that had double beds, personally felt like downgrade but I think that’s all they had at the moment) and we weren’t even in there an hour; and due to circumstances decided not to stay. I can say from experience that the pictures from the page are obviously old, edited, false and gloomy. We asked for at least a partial refund because we were barely there and instead got charged almost ninety dollars. Personally we were more willing to lose the money then stay there, We were very disappointed.

Absolutely horrible conditions. You’d be better off sleeping in your vehicle in the parking lot. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else.
