Good hotel clean rooms and the owner is one of the nicest lady's you will ever meet 👍👍

The lady was very rude, rolled her eyes at me And was being very ugly at me because I asked to switch rooms because they were throw up on the side of the bed I will never ever ever go back there again do not recommend

The stay was good, the bedding excellent, the shower pressure and temperature were the best I have ever had at a hotel, and with little in downtown Galax, we would return, however, the room was in disrepair, with falling curtains, an ugly bathroom, the strong smell of a petroleum product, and a weak a/c unit. Rooms could use some additional work. I warned my clients, and they had no great expectations, which helped. Breakfast was lacking in quantity, so I took the group to a local restaurant for breakfast. Location was great. Short walk to downtown. Hotel manager was quite helpful and pleasant. Although this is an older motel, it is very well maintained and the interior has been updated. Our room was on the small side but was impeccably kept and included a minifridge and microwave, which I did not expect. Everything was clean and well maintained except (minor problem) the hot and cold water faucets on the sink were not in the usual locations (we got used to it). It was nice to have a full bathtub and ceramic tile in the shower. We will definitely stay here again!
