Econo Lodge Daytona Beach - Speedway

The staff is very friendly, but we were told we were being put in the renovated rooms and if they were renovated, they need to get a refund from the contractor that did the renovation. 1. The water was cool at best. We were told the water had been turned off to let it run a little while and it will heat up. That never happened in all the 5 days we stayed. 2. The front door had to be forced closed as it sticks so bad you have to force it closed. 3. The heater never worked in one room, and we were moved to another room, and it barely worked in that room. We complained the heater didn't work and were told they would look at it the next morning. It was in the low 40's that night. 4. The bathroom door would not close and was coming apart. 5. The bathroom vent fan did not work and was rusted al

Positive: "" Negative: The room was dirty, furniture was old and in horrible condition, lamps with ripped shades didn’t work, broken outlet covers, a phone with no service, holes in the wall. Truly disgusting and disappointing.

I stayed for two nights here and the front desk staff named John was very nice and very professional and kind. I will highly recommend coming back up this hotel. The room I had with the updated kitchen was great and the room was clean, staff was professional as well. Highly recommend John!!!!!!

I have been at this hotel for like a week for work and Mr John was so helpful the rooms are so clean it’s quiet and an overall decent place to stay if your looking for a room in the area

It is what it is. An older econolodge that needs some love. The place was busy after the race. The front desk gentleman was efficient and kind. The place isn't bad for a cheap overnight room. It isnt good either but I knew what to expect and would give it 4 stars still after experiencing it.
