I was driving my truck from the border back to Dallas and started getting tired, so I pulled over and stayed at the Econo Lodge in Belton for the night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff was friendly and easy to deal with, which I appreciated after a long drive. The property itself is well kept, quiet, and feels safe, which makes it easy to actually get good rest. I liked it enough that I’ve stopped here a few more times since then on my way back. It’s consistently good for the price and a solid place to get some rest before getting back on the road. I’d stay here again.

Good location for Temple, Belton. Easy parking. All the functions in the room worked. Check in and out easy. No coffee maker, no hair dryer. Entrance off access road not marked , not well lit entrance. Fairly quiet. Expensive for what you get. Hotels in Belton are hard to find that match Econo Lodge basic service. The bathroom was clean. The shower has a slick plastic floor. No grab bars in the shower . No grab bars for getting out of shower. Very dangerous for people who have trouble standing to exit a wet tile shower with no grab bars.
