I meant to write this when I stayed on 12/31. It was for one day as I went to a rave but personally I had no issue with check in, no issues in my room besides the toilet taking time to flush and the area. The area isn’t the nicest but at least they have parking inside. Other than that I had no issue. The room was surprisingly cleaned, no smell and didn’t look “cheap” like other motels I stayed at. Guess you can’t judge a book by its cover. The guy at reception was supportive in questions so I’ll give him 5 stars. I can’t attest to other reviews but my experience was good. It’s not no Hilton so I only used it for sleep and a shower which is what a motel should be used for. Wouldn’t mind staying again if I had an event nearby and did a last minute booking since the price was only $88.
It so happened that LA is hosting an international convention and everything is occupied.||You will find yourself checking in in this motel.||It is in south central ave, but i did not encounter safety problems,||There is a bus #53 passing by that can drop u to broadway street near pershing station metro that will connect you wherever you want to go in LA.||The hotel is run by nice chinese guys, but i am surprise that they have to photo copy your credit card and ID. That makes me feel suspicious. I am planning to cancel that card when i get home.||They said its for security purposes, thats the only motel, inn, hotel, that ever did that! Is that legal?||Although these chinese guys were helpfull and friendly.
Positive: The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my particular travel/parking requirements. Even at the odd/late hours I needed help. Negative: Not the best area of LA, but it was convenient, and I never felt unsafe.
Not fancy, but affordable and convenient. The rooms are small but decent for a short stay. Parking is included, which helps. The area can feel a little busy, but it’s safe enough. Staff is available 24/7.
Staff was super slow checking us in, Language barrier in staff end, couldn’t understand that I needed to enter my pin to pay the room instead took my card and tap it on his machine which was through the glass on his side the counter. When I explained I needed to enter my pin, kept telling me my card had declined🙄 was forced to take cash out of his machine and pay $3 to take my own cash out. Then he ask me what the issue was with my card🤔it’s a security issue my bank wants to make sure it’s me using my card. ( would of thought he know that) Took a copy of my passport stating he needed it, couldn’t explain why. When I ask due to data protection is it stored securely and how long for? Couldn’t answer that question either. Staff kept coming into the room and turning off the air con, no bin it
