Eastern Inn

Never again. Lace is very old and run down. Halls have a very strong odor of food. Not a good smell. Old restaurant next door. Waited 15 minutes to check in. No one at the little room called office. Lady said I was supposed to push small button. Did not know it was a button. You. Have to go to the gas station for a soda. Finally found the ice machine. No ice. Luckily it was a very quick one night stay. Not worth half of what we paid.

Checked into the hotel on 10/18/2025 Got our room key. Went to our car to get some stuff to take to the room. The outside doors on the side were where in were either propped open or not shut all the way. Anyone could come in or out. Walked in the hall to our room and it reeks of Marijuana. Check our room and there are hair between the sheet of one bed. Went back out to our car and there is a lady of the eveing bringing someone in threw the open door. Went to Wal-mart and got what we needed. Got back to the Eastern Inn it's dark and getting late and they still have the doors open. Didn't feel safe staying there. Got our things and gave the key back to the attendant and let him know we were not staying.

Never again. Waited 20 minutes before someone appeared for us to check in. It was 8 PM like I told them when I reserved. They advertise vending machines. I was told you have to go to the gas station to buy a soda. Check in person was not friendly. Not one ice cube in the ice machine. The halls and room had a terrible old food small. There is a run down restaurant next door. This must be where the smell came from. They advertise room service and breakfast. Must be at a different location. Hall and rooms are very old and outdated. Room and bed were clean. They don’t give a AAA discount. Now I know why. We got in after 8pm and left at 5 AM. Not worth the money. In

I would ignore most of these reviews. The hallways do have a weird smell, but the room was clean and the bathroom was very nice. For the price you are paying, it is not bad at all.
