East Side Motel

I feel like this place could be better if they would put more effort into cleaning the rooms well. Our room had dirty shower curtains and i saw a stain on my towel. I found hair on the bed as soon as i saw the beds in the room, I was kind of scared to sleep because the bed sheets seemed like they weren’t changed or cleaned. The floor also didn’t look like it was vacuumed, I now know not to come here again. I definitely do not recommend if you like having a clean room.

Checked in and was put into a dirty room. Bed had stains and hair all over. There were toothbrushes still in the bathroom. Smelt like cat pee and cigarettes. Went and asked for another room and the beds were just as dirty and stained. Told them they had to give us new CLEAN bedding or a refund and they gave us bedding that was not as stained. Would not give us a refund or any money back. Definitely would not recommend.

It is simply one of the cheapest rooms you can get that is within walking distance of the main strip. Do you just require a place to lay your head after walking around all day? This is the place for you. Do you require luxury and modern amenities? Then you need to stay elsewhere and pay for it. ||||We showed up at check-in time but had to wait as the cleaning staff was not finished with our room. We sat in our car and personally witnessed the staff changing the sheets on the bed ( top and bottom ) and vacuum the carpet. ||||Yes the wallpaper is peeling in places. Yes the television is an older tube model and not a modern flat screen. Sure the two coat hangers in the closet area were bent and warped. We were able to overlook what some would call "deficiencies" and enjoy this affordable room

Yes, this motel may be a little older...but the staff was extremely friendly and our room was clean. There is no smoking in the rooms which I personally like, that means no burns in the carpet or beds. I smoke so it was no big deal to step out on the balcony to smoke. The pool was clean, just beware it goes from 5 ft to 9 ft in no time (just in case you have non-swimmers). All in all if you are just wanting a place to sleep and shower and not pay outrageous prices, this place is great.

Our room had enough furniture for my small family, and was cozy for our short stay of 3 nights. No bugs, very clean, very friendly staff (even provided advice for walking vs driving, made sure we had clean linens when we needed them, always pleasant). The water gets very hot fast, so be careful about using hot water. Very close to everything you want to do, and away from the busiest downtown noises.
