Dusk Hotel Hollywood

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My husband booked because of the vicinity to the Dolby. I was scared to touch the carpet it was so disgusting. The bed was broken. They given hand towels. The shower didn’t get hot. Things were broken. It was noisy. The windows were horribly dusty. Don’t stay here.

Honestly the definition of a 3 star hotel. The tv’s were a little outdated. stayed here for a day, and it wasn’t bad, or good. At least I happened to be there at the same time as the author, Martin summer. He signed my book, he has a very unique penmanship when it comes to the “E-R”.

The hotel was fine, cheap and cheerful. But they took a $100 deposit, which they said would be returned automatically. Yet a month later and they still have not. They dont answer the phone, they dont return emails.

Apart from the notes to the pictures, there were fewer toiletries: lotion but no shampoo or conditioner, for instance. Towels were apparently clean, but hard to the touch. When I started my shower water started coming out of the bathroom wall. It looked as though there was a leak straight from the wall. I could not believe a place at that location could operate in such awful conditions.

I have only ever stayed in this specific lodging establishment one time and one time only, which was to meet and get acquainted with a person who had begun to contact me and communicate with me via text messages. I was living in a group home at the time so did not have the ability to host potential guests in the location where I lived and would rent a hotel room usually about once a month or so for a night, and could host guests in my hotel room. It was a most unusual unique and curious situation as the person who I had invited to hang out with me, began to act in a very peculiar manner, stripping down to an athletic supporter and locking himself in the bathroom along with his laptop and stayed in there for about an hour.
