DuPont State Recreational Forest Visitor Center

Absolutely beautiful hiking trails. Took around 5 hrs to see all 4 falls. Stopped to let my dog play fetch in Lake Julia and Hooker Falls. Definitely glad I got the chance to see them.

DuPont is an amazing place that has a piece of my heart forever! Amazing views of waterfalls and mountains! Helene ravaged a lot of Dupont but we still make sure we go 2-3 times a year !!!

This park is really pretty, but all the gravel roads are closed off to vehicle access. We stopped here thinking we could drive up to one of the waterfalls, but the road was gated. While it was only a 1 mile hike, we were in a bit of a time crunch, so unfortunately, we missed out on the falls. It doesn't say anything about this online, and google still tries to route you down these "roads."

Great hikes here. Trials are clearly marked and well maintained. There are many waterfalls you can see without too strenuous of a hike. Make sure you check the trail maps at the trail head regarding which trails are still closed from the hurricane.

If you are up for a little walk, there are some really water falls to see. I'm sure it would have been even better this summer when you could dunk in.
