Dunes Motor Inn

I've stayed here 3 times. I will not be coming back. The rooms are disgusting. The workers are rude, abd if you turn around or park or try to get out just to check in the workers come out of the office and scream at you. The pool is gross. Yes, seems good right across from the beach. Do you want a vacation with ants, bugs in your room, like an infestation? Do you want to sleep on hard beds and dirty spotty sheets? If so, stay here. The past owner sold to their granddaughter and it seems like it runs in the family to not take care of the place but charge a HUGE amount. It's like a Super 8. Just across from an ocean. My family has stayed here and complained and the staff are just nasty attitude. They fire alarms goes off randomly and they say its "normal, at least 6 times a season".

I concur with the negative reviews of “management “ the place is lovely, clean and convenient. My friends and I look so forward to our annual off season stays, but unfortunately staff has other ideas. Apparently rules, written or not change annually. Last visit we were one of two occupants and couldn’t get the room requested. Clearly the comments from management/owner defends the rude behavior of the office lady. Weird

BEDBUGS! Stay away! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My stay at the Dune’s was absolutely miserable. They have a major bedbug infestation —I left with dozens of itchy, painful bites all over my body. The sheets were yellow and felt unwashed. The TV didn’t work, the air conditioning barely blew lukewarm air, and the so-called “continental breakfast” was nothing more than stale, rock-hard muffins that looked like they’d been sitting out for weeks. To make things worse, the staff were some of the most hostile and unhelpful people I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. Any question or complaint was met with aggression and eye-rolling, as if guests were an inconvenience. Amazing place, directly across from one of the best beaches in NH. Room are exactly what you need for a beach vacation. Staff if friendly and fun, and have the most fantasticly sarcastic senseof humor. Overall amazing experience and looking forward to staying again.

This place is a nightmare. The only good thing is the beach, and even that doesn’t make up for how we were treated. My aunt walked into our own room to use the bathroom before we left, and a staff member aggressively yelled at us, accusing us of “abusing their services.” The whole interaction was so intense that my 5-year-old cousin left in tears, terrified by how we were being treated. No one should be made to feel like this, especially not in front of their kids. The rooms were filthy—mold in the AC, bugs everywhere—and clearly, no one cares about keeping the place in decent shape. The staff was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional, and it completely ruined our family trip. We’ll never come back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
