Drury Inn & Suites Louisville East

Jaz at the front desk of Drury INN in Louisville, KY truly made our stay memorable. She is a wonderful welcoming executive who helped us a lot throughout our visit. The moment you walk into the hotel, she is the first person you see—with a beautiful smile and a genuinely warm attitude that makes you feel right at home. Her helpfulness and positive energy set the tone for our entire stay. The hotel itself was great as well. The breakfast was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised to enjoy a complimentary dinner in the evening too. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Louisville. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Pool and hot tub were nice as well. I just was unaware of the birthday party that was being thrown at the pool. Too many kids running, playing, and being wild. There was no room in the hottub for any other guests. Kids unattended…I watched 2 different sets of elderly couples walk in and walk straight back out. Got to my room where all I heard for 3 hours was kids running through the halls, grown ups yelling 2 doors down that sounded like they were in the room with me. Somebody kept running thru the halls knocking on doors and running. I look out of my peep hole to see the front desk attendant exiting the room across the hall. It was a big mess. I love Drury, but I won’t be returning to this one.

I must say that I was very surprised at staying in this hotel. I had not heard of them before, but the reviews seemed promising while I was not disappointed. This hotel was extremely clean very organized. The staff was amazing and friendly. Very helpful with local information. The rooms were very nicely decorated the beds were extremely comfortable. They had a nice little bounce to them. The pillows were not the greatest, but that is something that can always be remedied. The breakfast buffet had a very nice selection to choose from the workers in the breakfast area, where we’re working very hard to keep everything clean and stocked. My fiancé and I saw a lot of positive reviews so we were genuinely excited about our stay but the hotel dropped the ball multiple times. For starters this place was way overbooked. My only assumption is that jobs are giving room vouchers to their workers for stays and they’re bringing their entire family. If this is not the case then the hotel needs to work on occupancy and capacity. It was very loud with kids running around and minimal parental supervision and no intervention from employees, seems like a norm. The room wasn’t the cleanest. I spilled my water on the nightstand and cleaned it with a hotel towel, the stains left on the towel were horrific and there was hair everywhere!!
