Driftwood Motel

Highly recommend!! Spent 3 nights and plan to go back in April for Jazz Fest in New Orleans. Eugene and Kei are the perfect hosts. Very responsive and accommodating. They offer a nice breakfast on weekends and the pantry offers treats and they have all the fixings for BYO! This is a lil gem in Bay St. Louis, MS.

We stayed in #2 and the self-entry key pad is a nice touch. The room was recently remodeled with shiplap walls, nice beach decor, beach towels, and small kitchenette. Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable enough. The pillows weren't the greatest, but this is not an expensive 5 star hotel. It's very cute and and quaint which I love! the sheets were soft and clean. I would recommend staying here.

While the motel was clean, the only redeeming feature, the room was terribly small. When we arrived the room was cold, nothing was plugged in and there was no outdoor lighting making it kind of treacherous to get to the room, especially after they were watering the flowers. The pathway had water sitting on it and was slippery. The room and bathroom were very small. One must use the fridge and microwave as the night stand as it is right next to the bed. There is minimal room to move around or place luggage. When we arrived nothing was plugged in or turned on. The tv was worthless. The streaming barely worked as the internet connection was not very strong. Thankfully we were only there one night. It was clean and that is the only reason we staying rather than leaving.
