DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dallas - Farmers Branch

I had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree Hotel. The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the beds were especially nice and cozy. What truly made my stay special was the staff, everyone was amazing, but Isabelle deserves special recognition. I was having a very rough weekend and going through a lot, and she was incredibly kind, accommodating, and supportive. She went above and beyond to help me with my stay and made me feel genuinely cared for. Her kindness meant more to me than she probably knows. The rooms and entire hotel were spotless, and housekeeping did a great job. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay here last Saturday night. There was a mishap on our original room & the staff handled it promptly and went above and beyond to take care of us!! From Howie at the front desk, to housekeeping, to the bartender that evening, everyone was amazing!!! Highly recommend! Also, the lakeview is so peaceful and their showers are super nice. Great water pressure for a hotel, usually that’s my biggest struggle when we stay somewhere.

Good hotel. Rooms very clean. I had only a couple of issues. Don't like these low flush (water saving, I guess) toilets. Had to flush twice when I used them. So much for your "water saving"... The other issue was a late breakfast buffet on weekends. I am an early riser. 6am weekday for the buffet to open but not until 7am on weekends. And no other options in the immediate area but a convenience store. Other than that, great staff, especially the guy on desk when I woke up. Didn't get his name, unfortunately, but he was an African-American guy if the hotel wants to pass on the compliment.

Positive: Quite and secluded Negative: The crying of a baby in the room next door. I came for relaxing and peace but was woken by a baby crying majority of the dah.

During the snow and ice storm, I attempted to book a room after multiple flight delays only to find out the airport shuttle does not run at that time. No other transportation services were running. I called right away to let the hotel know (within the hour of booking). They refused to cancel the room without charging me for the night. I emailed the GM immediately, they also refused to help. Exercise caution if you choose to stay here. I am unconvinced that management prioritizes customers. We ended up sleeping on the floor of the airport. I wonder how many other people were charged and not refunded. The hotel states they were “fully booked”.
