DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cincinnati Airport

The front desk lady was wonderful. Other than that this was an absolutely disappointing stay. The shower flooded the whole bathroom floor. The sink handle leaked water across the counter. Every fixture (to roll, shower handle, sink fixtures) were loose. One lamp was burnt out. The wallpaper was dingy and stained. I booked this room expecting Hilton standards. When I asked about the tiny shower and outdated decor I was told that it was an older hotel that Hilton had bought. I ended up not even staying the night.

The service was excellent. I had a very early morning flight so I came to stay conveniently close to the airport . I was considering walking over but it was a little rainy so I took the shuttle over which runs every ten minutes 24 hours. There was fresh hot coffee and tea available just outside the restaurant before the restaurant opens, a great start to the day.

I was impressed by the hotel- mostly by the service. The room was freshly painted, everything was clean, and the service was absolutely top notch. We did not eat at the restaurant due to such mixed reviews, but on the merit of the hotel alone, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Tyra, especially, made this visit great. She was welcoming, so incredibly kind, and went over the top to make sure we had a wonderful experience.

They treated me like a good friend or family. Darlene in the restaurant and Sara at registration and customer service were amazing. Helpful and kind. They went out of their way taking care of me. Will stay they again! I am a vegetarian and I ordered Korean barbecue cauliflower and a Greek salad and they were both delicious and the chef even came out and chatted with me. I felt safe and cared for and the room was CLEAN! 24 hour airport shuttle from the worlds friendliest drivers.

The staff welcomes you like you're walking through the gates of Heaven. Angels playing a beautiful tune as the aroma of fresh baked cookies wafts through the air and dances into your nose with the whimsy of a unbridled thoroughbred (you are in Kentucky after all). Shuttle service to and from any destination is buttery smooth. The real kind, freshly churned that morning. Not Country Crock. Yeah, that smooth. The rooms are nice too.
