DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Worth Fossil Creek

My husband and I recently stayed here for three nights. We found the room to be very clean when we anrrived and the bed to be very comfortable. We also liked the size of the shower and that they offered a variety of personal grooming products in the room also. They offered shower caps, mouthwash, soaps, toothbrushes, a razor, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. It was actually more than even a four star hotel we stayed at recently and we liked that very much. We stayed on the side of the hotel away from the freeway, and when we looked out our window, we saw horses grazing on an empty lot. It was kind of nice. We weren’t thrilled how dark the sitting area was during the day, but it seemed to be better at night and when we wanted more light, we just went into the bedroom area of the Junior Sui

I had to go here due to a house fire on 3-14-25. They were the only hotel that had availability. Heather was helpful due to our situation. She was the only one that was helpful, kind and understanding of our situation. As most family's do, we had cats. I had placement for them the following morning as they were just in a fire and traumatized. At 3am in the morning. my husband went to put food out for my cat that had ran away scared and she came to him for comfort and he didn't have the heart to leave her there in a burnt water logged house but bring her to the hotel. At 4am in the morning, A security guard knocked on our door and said, cat has to go. I explained I had arraignment to take her to family in just 4 hrs. I explained I just lost my home and no where to go and placing animals

Customer service is terrible, I booked my room in advance with 1 kingsize bed, but when I came to the hotel the guy told me king size room wasn't available. He said few king size bedrooms will become available the next day and my room will be switched. He wrote that in their daily logbook. When I returned from office the next evening, went to service desk to ask for the switch, this time it was a lady who was doing some paperwork (perhaps) took few mins before noticing me. I asked her about the room switch and shw simply ingnored amd said "I don't have anything". Also bath tub had bunch of hair. Also on TV screen was showing someone else's name. Absolutely disappointed.

Their website states that the breakfast is included but they do not offer breakfast. They do have a restaurant so you can pay for your breakfast if you would like which tastes the same as the free breakfast other hotel chains offer for free. The rooms are ok the location is not bad. The service is not so good the front desk lady is rude I went to ask about the “included breakfast” and she said that since I got mine off Expedia that it was already a big discount so it doesn’t include breakfast. Mam please you don’t offer free breakfast to anyone discount or no discount. Very unprofessional of her. 🤦🏻‍♀️

First, I opened the drawer and the handle fell off. You could see the glue on it. Then we walked in the bathroom and it reaked of smoke. They wanted to send house keeping but I have asthma and insisted on a new room. Went to the new room and the one light didn't work because the plug only had one prong! They haven't replaced it yet. We are Gold members and get free meals but they wanted to offer us free meals to compensate for the trouble. The dinner menu included only burgers.. I'm not impressed. This has been the worst experience at a Hilton!! We were told the management isn't in until Monday.
