Dosewallips State Park Campground

It’s ok! The cabins and facilities at this campground are 5 star, everything was clean and well kept. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabins have a very efficient heater, multiple outlets, and a potable water spigot for each campsite. The showers and bathrooms were exceptionally clean and within a 3-5 minute walk max of every campsite, as far as I could tell. I wasn’t as thrilled with what to do in the area. Personally I would liked to have been able to spend more time near to the water, but most of the access to the water is a marsh environment, hard to stay for long, not swimmable, and not suitable for many benches or tables. It is possible to spend just enough time by the water to snap some beautiful photos. Maybe I just didn’t find the right spots by the water but I

We were here for the 4th of July weekend, 07/03/25 - 07/06/25. This was our 1st time here, and we loved it! The sites were clean, spacious, and private. Site 25 had full hookups. They do have a dump station. The bathrooms were clean and they did have showers. The Burn Ban was in effect but we always have the propane pit just in case. There is a little trail that brings you to the 101 bridge where you can explore the river. You can go up and over the bridge via a pedestrian pathway to Dosewallips Beach. It wasn't a far walk at all. In the afternoon the river got very busy.

Very nice 2-day cabin stay experience! The campground was well maintained, peaceful, close to trail, beach and creek. My family had a lot of fun with our first camping trip here. The Halfway House restaurant close by was a big plus - so we could get nice meal when we wanted (the park banned charcoal grill and wood fire this summer)

Another great stay at Dosewalips! Quiet, clean, and beautiful. The salmon (Humpies) are spawning and the elk are grazing.

Love this place! Had a 2 night stay with rainy days, but the area was just relaxing and beautiful. Plenty of space between rvs. Reserved site online. Water and electricity, dump station on site as you exit. Has a little library on at rangers station.
