Dockside Resort

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I would come back again just to visit Bob, to say nothing of the gorgeous spot and amazing full hookup. •Bob is an all around great guy of integrity, hard work, and good stories. Loved getting to know him and chat with him. Very friendly and helpful whenever we needed something as well. •My husband and I stayed here for a week with our truck camper and trail rig (Suzuki samurai). Good amount of space for our trailer and truck plus samurai. We enjoyed many campfires on the lake. •Full hookup was amazing (water, electric, and sewage). •Bathrooms are clean and spacious •Firewood available for $5 a bundle and each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table •Absolutely STUNNING view of Lake Superior and sunrises •Got to meet a few of the locals and ever

We had no plans to stay the night in this area until we met Bob, the owner, while having a drink at the Gay Bar just up the street. He led us the short drive back to his campground and marina and placed us in a perfect spot overlooking Lake Superior! He has the most beautiful Superior views! Very dog friendly! We walked the grounds and around the docks of the marina. Had a drink sitting with Bob at his self serve Tiki Bar! Bob is continuously improving the area and it is reflected in some of the grounds. He also offers homes with views for daily rental and extremely affordable boat launch and tie up. He is right on the ATV trailhead and offers year round lodging. Bob is the best!!

I had been staying at the Sunset Bay camp in RV Bill the owner needed something more laid-back so I went to the dockside met with Bob. The owner very gracious. I am booking this year all of May all of June and we’re working on July at this time thanks for everything Bob.

Great rental property. All cabins were surprisingly well stocked. WiFi died off a bit in cabin 4, but was strong in other cabins. Will definitely return. Beautiful scenery too.

Beautiful view, near UTV trails/beach. Owner very nice. Great area to camp!
