Desert Star Motel

I stayed at this place over the weekend, I got in to town around 2am and found this spot being that it was extremely late I was tired, I said wth it’s only gonna be a few hours it can’t be that bad. And let me tell you I was wrong !!!!! It was the worst place to stay it was a rundown drug addict looking room. It was dirty from the outside door to the walls, floors, bathroom the list does on. The sheets were stained old ugly the mattress was even worse. there wasn’t a light bolt in the lamp it smelled like cigarettes smoke I felt like second hand smoke that’s how bad the smell was. I would never go back I rather sleep in my car.

I booked this hotel for a few nights, then discovered StayDrive BnB when I decided to stay longer. Their rentals around John S. Park made me feel like I was living in Vegas, not just visiting. Peaceful area, great prices, and everything I needed already set up. Highly recommend for longer stays!

This motel is accompanied by a great team who show empathy and understanding. Even though the location and their clientele is subpar, great hearts supersede the negatives. Thank you all.

Please read and take seriously. This is by far the worst, poor quality, and run down motel I've ever stayed in. First red flag: I asked to see the room before I paid, due to there no refund policy. Which they denied my request to view my room in advance. Ignoring my instincts, I booked a room for a few days. Which I instantly regretted upon entering the room. The room had not been cleaned, even lightly cleaned, in a very long time. Food crumbs, dead insects, and dirt and dust covered the disgusting wood floor. Only 1 light put of 5 worked to light up the room. Probably to hide the terrible room condition. There were pieces of sheet rock on the floor from holes in the walls and ceiling which were not repaired. The bathroom had no toilet paper or any towels or linens whatsoever.
