Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel

This place was amazing. The rooms are super massive they all have a patio area dedicated to each room the amenities are top notch. It is definitely not no new marriott or hilton. I would still pick this place over any of the othere ones mentioned. The mineral spring water pools are awesome. The skin feels softer and better exfoliated i will be coming back ASAP I just didnt like the shower. In our room the water would not get warm less hot.

We only came to try out the Mineral Springs pools and buy a day pass. There are 8 pools, different sizes and temperatures. They ranged from 74 degrees (largest lap pool) to 104 degrees while we were there. Employees seem to test the temperatures every 30 minutes and update the whiteboard which lists each pool. Only 1 pool had bubbles flowing and others all were still water. We stayed for 2 hours. This location had the lowest prices of all mineral springs pools. Since we just wanted a few hours, this location worked out best. We did try out all pools but liked the hottest pool with bubbles the best. ||People were friendly and seemed like many local people were there. Amazing management, really beautiful and historic hotel for a romantic vacation. My husband and I stayed for 6 nights over New Year's and enjoyed every day of our stay, from the omelettes and pancakes at the Sunshine Cafe, to our comfortable room and our friendly conversations with the other guests in the pools. The hotel team is phenomenal - Laurie and Yvonne are so helpful, kind, and responsive. It was our first time to Desert Hot Springs and we are looking forward to the next chance we have to return.

Positive: We stayed at this hotel many times. This is the first time we are assigned room 226 which does not have head light for both beds and is facing the roof top . It is not pleasant. Negative: I like their hot tub and swimming pool. They both are clean

Our first time here. Mark is an amazing Bartender/Host he made us feel like family. Sergio (security) friendly helpful and just an all around good guy. We come to the valley twice a year, from this day forward we will only stay at this place. Wonder experience
