Deerfield Inn & Suites

We have been traveling along the Gilf shores for about 2 weeks. The little gem was very clean. Beds were great. Front desk Grandma was so sweet and helpful. If we ever get this way again, we would definitely stay there again.

I travel by car from Texas several times a year to Indiana, Michigan and Nebraska to visit family. I try to stay at a $90 limit at the many hotels/motels I visit each year. As I take various routes I seldom visit the same motel twice, and booked a room the night before online for $69 tax included at the Deerfield Inn in Osceola. I was skeptical because of the price, but as I was just passing through the area I took a chance. This turned out to be the cleanest, most well equipped motel I had stayed at in several years. And it was only $69 with tax included!

Positive: I stay at many hotels during the year visiting family and friends. I try to pay less than $--- if possible. This was better than any and was only $---. Negative: ""

On January 25, I booked a room at this hotel online through the Priceline app. At the time of booking, Priceline charged my Cash App card in the amount of $84 or $86. After that, about half an hour later, I arrived at the hotel and checked into the room. I showed my driver’s license and Real ID, and I was also asked for a card. I assumed this card was needed only for a possible incident or as a security deposit. It was late at night, dark, and I was very tired. We went to sleep, and in the morning I checked out and left the hotel. However, two days after we checked out, the hotel charged my card again in the amount of $86. I contacted Priceline, and they told me that this should not have happened and that it was most likely a deposit, which should be refunded. However, the money has no

ROACHES it smelt like raid spray when we walked in and a roach crawled on the table from the bed. If I could give a negative review I would. Duck tape on the door holding the lock together dead bugs on the pullout mattress and finger prints on the door that looked like poop hair in the sink. It was horrible we came from out of town for our grandmother's funeral.
