Deer Watch Cabins

Great location. Cozy cabin feel. Some issues were that the outside fire pit was completely full of ash. We usually have a camping shovel on us but unfortunately it’s in our camper so we couldn’t clean the pit out. Another issue was the water being extremely smelly. I’ve lived with well water but this was so bad to the point we couldn’t use it. Smells like rotten eggs. The hot tub is a great addition. We used that then though it was 90 degrees outside. Location is very close to the hiking trails and local attractions. They allow pets which is great for my fur baby. Not much cell service.

If you are looking for a nice couples get-a-way, check these folks out! Close to all the attractions Hocking Hills has to offer but seclude and peaceful. There are several cabins on the property but spaced for plenty of privacy! Clean, rustic, room for 2, full kitchen, hot tub on the deck surround by woods! The owner is pleasant when you call to book, gives detailed driving directions, and available for all your needs. We will 100% be back!!

My girlfriend and I stayed in the big buck cabin for 2 nights and we had a great time. The cabin was very nice and so was the owner. The hot tub on the back was great to sit in even in the cold. Would recommend for couples.

Stayed at Big Buck. Cute cabin, in need of repairs and general upkeep. Hot tub was great! The bathroom though...oh my! The shower door sticks and leaks. The shower interior is a disaster. The whole thing just needs to go.
