Deer Creek Campground

About an hour drive from Denver. A cute, small campground perfect for a weekend getaway. Restrooms were clean and had toilet paper! No cell phone reception. We never seen the host to pay for our spot. Unfortunately, there's no trash pick-up or dump site nearby. We stopped and asked the nearest gas station, and he was rude and told us no. But let the next person pay him to dump their trash.

We absolutely loved it. It was quiet and beautiful and the Little Creek runs right through the campsite there were wildflowers and Wildlife everywhere. The bathrooms were kept very clean.

Good campground. We love the streams. Rains alot so very green! Typically at least 2 hours a day during peak season. First come basis, no reservations. Within 30 mins drive of a few stores if you forgot something. Numerous trails in area. Very peaceful. Wouldn't recommend if you don't like rain. Please put your dog on a leash.

The bathrooms are really clean you cant camp out by the water anymore those spots are day camping only. Lots of confusion on campfires. Even though it's a stage 1 fire danger. The host of the camp didn't want fires. It's ultimately up to the host per the ranger. Very nice place. For what you pay for camping you would think they would have somewhere to put trash. You have to haul your own trash away. That's the only reason I gave a 4 star. Lovely people and place over all

Great campground along side Deer Creek. It has plenty of trees for shade and each site has ample parking. There is a water pump and two nicer outhouses.
