Deep Water Trail Camp

Nice quiet place with river access at the end of Deep Water Trail. The trail is down hill and is not maintained by the National Forest service. These pictures were taken in the winter and some of the trails have a lot of erosion and some are closed until spring. It doesn't matter what time of the year you visit the forest is always a nice way to spend a sunny day specially if you have a Jeep.

I love camping at the Deep Water trail camp. It's one of my favorites.

It was fun weekend get away. Very peaceful and best of all free. Just be a decent human being and pick up after yourselves!

This was my first time camping. And, despite no Internet access whatsoever, I can honestly say it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

This was once a well loved primitive camp site. There are many fine memories associated. It now has been wrecked with vehicle recreational mudding. The DEEP crevices make it unsuitable to any kind of camping. Is there anyway the Forest Service can be encouraged to reverse the neglect for this campsite?
