Daytona Shore Inn

Owners make you feel welcome, big smile on her face everytime I see her. Most places don't give that kind of vibe when you first arrive. Towels and sheets smell freshly washed, not like chemicals. And they have about the best rate in the area.

The people I checked with were super helpful and friendly. But the rooms are run down, and there is a bully living there! Check out was at 10, and this knuckle head was knocking on the door at 9:30 telling me to get out. I thought I was going to have to the cops on him! I will not be back for that reason alone. It's sad for the owners. They seem very nice!!

One of the ladies is extremely rude, doesn't know how to talk to people at all. Coming out of the office to watch people grab items from their car an giving dirty looks at them while they bring in items from their vehicle.

The staff are very prejudice, and have a tenant who walks in your room if it's unlocked to literally search for people. They told me I wasn't allowed there, when me and my fiance booked a room, and the place is infested with German cockroaches. They made no claim of charging per person, They act as if your their adolescent rather then a guest trying to stay for a vacation. Used needles in the parking lot, And lots of glass from the tenants who apparently live there, and two days ago, someone's Electric bike was jacked in front of the place. I'm calling every inspector possible.

Stayed weekly here and it was a wonderful getaway, only downside is the employee of the hotel was very rude waking guest up at 8am to see if you need linens or towels. Not an ideal way to treat guests on vacation. The weekly rates are a little expensive considering the hotel doesn't have much to offer and rooms are beyond basic. I feel they have a lot to work on and better but not bad for last minute stay. I feel they should focus more on the priorities of their guest as well as their wants and needs. As they say the customer is always right and that's how you make your money so better accommodate your guests better and make them top priority
