Days Inn by Wyndham Waynesboro

I would give zero starts if possible. While the room was OK by the standards of a 2-star small town hotel, I was able to get a total of about 3 hours of sleep the night I stayed there (Dec. 27th). Everything was fine until people started partying on the 2nd floor above me about 2:30am. Stomping around and yelling at high volume. About 45 mins later, I went down to the lobby to ask a staff member to ask the people to quiet down. Lobby was locked with no one at the front desk. Sign on the door said to ring the bell for service after 12am. I rang the bell and waited. Rang it again. Waited another 2 minutes in the freezing cold. Rang again. It became clear no one was working the desk. Called the hotel's main number and no one answered. It was clear that the "24 hour front desk" listed on their

The room was clean with no unpleasant odors. Bathroom was clean. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The room was quiet, with the only noise from the A/C. Staff was friendly. Parking right in front of our room. This is not a luxury spa, but for the money it is a good place for a night's sleep.

The front desk person was fantastic(Owner) He was accommodating and friendly. Location was great for us. Its anolder Days Inns so rooms were as would be expected. They were very clean though. Great place for the price.

Positive: Near to our pick-up site Negative: Coffee not ready at 6 AM-knocked at door and no one answered.

A very nice Days Inn, much better than most we have stayed at previously. I'm guessing its the Wyndham influence. It was marred a bit by indifferent front desk attitude. When we noticed a toilet leak upon check-in, we were told moving to another room was not an option due to full booking, even though we had arrived early, and the lot only had 2 or 3 cars in it. Fortunately, when we checked back an hour later, the manager/owner seemed to have intervened and handed us the key to the room next door.
