Days Inn by Wyndham Paintsville

Pros.  Good location,  Good price,  Comfortable bed and friendly hotel staff.Cons.  Filthy room floors,  Stench of unsanitise room floor and bathroom, unwashed shower curtain “yellowish” and I found ***** hairs in the bath tub. I will rate 7 out of 10.

Sheet looked dirty like they weren’t washed and had stains (urine stains on mattress protector and possibly other body fluid stains), floor had not been cleaned at all, smelled like someone smoked in it (it was supposed to be a nonsmoking room), the complimentary breakfast was pretty much nonexistent, looked like someone threw up (or something else) on the back of the bathroom door. We booked online and the place looked decent. I will never stay here again!

The room stunk, smelled like pet urine, I went back an hour after I checked in and told the front desk my TV would not work, they came down to work on it. Try to get it to work, but could not, would not let me exchange room nor reduce my rate. I paid $100 a night for this junkie holding in the wall place.I would not let my enemies stay here. I wanted to go home and take a bath. Terrible.

We stayed here during the first week of Oct. which is during the Apple Days Festival. The normal nightly rate is $54 but we were charged $125 because of the festival. We were in town to visit family. We were warned by our family to lock our vehicle everywhere we go because of the homeless druggies in town. After the 1st day the door to our room did NOT lock when we left the room. You could enter our room without a key! We notified the front desk and they said they would check it, but it never changed. We left the Do Not Disturb tag on our door so people would think someone was in the room. We asked, before we booked the room, if the pool was working. And we were told the pool was open until the end of Oct. It was empty! I asked the lady cleaning the rooms and she said the pool hasn't been

Cheap price but bring some cleaning supplies. Door looked like it had been kicked in a time or two. Door seal didn't close well. Cleaning crew was very nice, but they seem to not have access to clean mops or much quality supplies. If management/owners would supply them with a shop vac, clean mop water, disinfectant, and a bucket 🪣. They could do a much better job.
