Days Inn by Wyndham Mt. Vernon

Total dump. I booked a room with 2 beds then got there and they said it was one bed then tried to charge extra for a room with 2 beds. The pool is not open. We didn't stay. No refund.

Positive: Pretty standard, had third floor so nice and quiet, only 4 rooms up there Negative: Breakfast choices were only, apple and orange juice, milk, toast, oatmeal packets. I think that was it

Homeless people in parking lot, all around hotel, drug use in parking lot. Hotel room was dirty? Shower was dirty, ants in bathroom and other small black bugs walking around on floor. Ceiling on hallway on third floor falling apart, leak coming out of roof even though there isn’t been any rain in a week. Bucket laying on floor to catch water. Black mold appearance on walls. Electrical outlets next to bed in the room we were in kept shorting out trying to charge cells phones and would charge for 5 seconds pop then 2-3 mins later randomly start charging again for few seconds. Tried 4 different chargers in that outlet all did same thing. Do not recommend place sucks

Days Inn Mt. Vernon, WA has "The Days Inn Promise" posted on the wall in the lobby. Let's just say they are not coming close to fulfilling that promise at this location. This hotel is in dire need of overdue maintenance, upgrades, and general care.||Here is a list of problems we encountered on our recent 2-night stay:||1) The pool you see in the picture is closed and obviously hasn't been used in some time because it's full of algae and in disrepair. There is no excuse for not having this fixed and available at the end of June for the summer season.||2) The breakfast area in the picture does not exist. Breakfast is now in the lobby with only a few tables, coffee, cereal, toast, juice, apples, and packets of oatmeal. There is no waffle maker, no eggs, and no protein of any kind. They

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It's pretty safe to say that the pictures they use to advertise, are far from current. They don't have a pool even though they advertise that they do, the comforters are stained and gross, you can hear people using the toilet in the neighboring rooms, the mini fridge smells like it hasn't been aired out or used in who knows how long, the smoke detector had a plasic bag taped over it, virtually no lightning in the room, and I felt like I was going to catch something by staying here. There are people that live here and there is a very seedy vibe at this place
