Days Inn by Wyndham Mt. Sterling

This place was terrible. Heater blew more cold air than warm, could not get hot water in shower, no heat in bathroom, and there were roaches in the room! The floors were cold. The door didn't seem to be fully closed and there was no extra door security.

Very nice mix of old and new. The person at check in was very patient and helpful. All the staff was as well. Best continental breakfast I've ever seen. Room was very clean (smelled of Pine Sol). Lots of cool furniture in the room. Spacious room. Had a real phone that let me speak to the front desk with the touch of one button. TV was very good. Maps on the wall in the office. Again a very nice experience overall. What motels were 30 years ago to be honest.

Great rooms at a great price. Newly renovated. Excellent accomodations. Price amazingly low for this area. Visiting Mount Sterling or passing through, great economical property. I highly recommend.

Dated and small rooms. Can't say the room was not clean but you know that's the vibe when everything is dated and worn. Heating system very outdated, took hours to warm the room (we went out to dinner and came back to a slight improvement so kept the room); notified front desk and was indicated that it takes a while for those systems to work but was offered another room; again, just wasn't up for the hassle. Had to manually adjust temperature all night but seemed to continue heating until I just turned it off. Was a short stay so just endured. Just feel sad that I used points and still paid too much for the quality of the room. The place was virtually empty so parking and noise not an issue. Was convenient off the interstate.
