Days Inn by Wyndham Morton

My wife and I recently attempted to stay at the Days Inn in Morton, Illinois. Upon entering the lobby, we were immediately overwhelmed by cigarette smoke. The staff member at the desk—speaking no English—communicated only through gestures, eventually fetching a colleague who handed us a room key with no markings or room number. The key failed to work. We returned for a replacement, which unlocked the adjacent room. Inside, the wall switch did nothing; after fumbling in the dark, we found a functional light. The room appeared superficially tidy but carried a stale, unclean odor. When we inspected the mattress (as we routinely do), we discovered multiple blood-like stains on the cover. We reported this downstairs, only to encounter a defensive and combative attitude from the desk agent. Anot

First off the hotel and the rooms smell horrible. When making my reservation I was told I could pay cash but was charged to my card hours before I checked in. The tv has three remotes with no instructions but that didn't matter because they don't receive live tv. Only subscription service that you can't sign into. AC unit in the room was extremely noisy and sounded like it was going to break.couldn't be used. Breakfast was non existent. They had a waffle maker that wasn't turned on. a sign on the juice machine that said out of order and after reading some reviews, apparently it has been that way for at least a year. Only had cereal but the milk was expired. The room had a door to the outside but the key didn't work for it. Nobody is ever at the front desk for answers. Definitely do not get

The room was warm. There was a bed. But the rest was not fitting even minimum expectations. There was no alarm clock. One outlet in the room worked. So you had to choose either the fridge, your phone or the tv. The tv turned on to a blank screen there were no channels. The mini fridge froze everything so pop was flat the next day because it froze overnight. The door leading outside had a gap between the door and frame. Were told to not use any auxiliary doors because of the heating bills to go through the lobby. Went to check in, the manager was on his phone said hello 3 times and he don’t answer or look up. Banged on the counter and he finally looked up and got upset that he had been startled. Blankets had holes in them that you could stick your fist through. Pillows were tiny sofa size

My stay was great. My family and I loved it there. I will be coming back there to stay. The breakfast was good. The room were clean.

For the price, we were very happy with our stay. The bed was very comfortable and our room was clean. We stayed with our dog. Breakfast was simple, but there was a great coffee machine with café latte and mocha coffee. Had a fridge and microwave. Friendly staff. Would stay again.
