Days Inn by Wyndham Montgomery

Cheap initial price. Checked several different ways to make sure of no hidden fees. Nothing disclosed on any website. Made sure to call ahead when we were going to be checking in later than expected. My friend went to check in, and the front desk attendant tried to hustle him for money. Some sort of extra payment he needed to make before he could check onto the room. Not a deposit. Room was fully paid for. The first room had a fire alarm beeping in it. Second room smelled like the HVAC was about to spark up. Worst hotel experience in a looooong time.

I travel for business and also book ahead so I called the property and keep in mind… (Dec 13-15 ) I called on dec11th at 2:07pm to book for those dates. Guy said ok name which I spelled out 4xs in system ( spelled all wrong, date of stay13-15th, card information, ok set your booked ok me… conformation number so I’ll send to email (never got that one) but an email for cancellation on the 11th I said 13-15. Now at property checking no room available for type I booked ok got accommodation with a rm 212 upstairs when I asked for down ok trip cut short checking out 7:30am on Dec 14th ok deposit was $40 cash no problem why “Bobby” said let me check room for deposit refund ok cool why this joker stood at the top of stairs and said ma’am big towels missing I go up and keep in mind i showered check

The building was tired and needed a coat of paint and repairs to the parking lot. The rooms had holes in the walls where lighting fixtures were replaced and the furniture was worn and scuffed. The doors and door frames all had peeling paint. Breakfast was promised but not provided. At least the bedding and towels were clean.

I stayed at this location and was not pleased at all.The building needs to be renovated. My pillows were small and the comforter had burnt holes .The business says breakfast but it’s only a protein bar and coffee. Worst decision to stay at this days inn.

We stopped here for a night heading for the beach and the room was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner. There was hair left in the tub from the last guest and the toilet needs a good scrubbing. We were provided plenty of towels. The bed could’ve used another couple of pillows and the neighborhood was super sketchy. We were immediately approached by a homeless man getting out of our car to check in. All in all we were comfortable enough for one night and parking is close to the building so even the sketchy neighborhood isn’t a big deal if your not planning a long visit. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They offered extra linens on check in and probably would have given more pillows had we asked.
