Days Inn by Wyndham Lathrop

My wife and i just needed a place to sleep for the night. A price was advertised was not the price we paid. We paid more. The room was clean. The bed was too firm. By morning I ached. Breakfast was a joke. I've stayed at other days inn and had a good experience.

My experience at this hotel is usually excellent but this time was disappointing. Made the reservation thru 3rd part but when I get there to check in I was hit with a $150 deposit. The customer service was nice until my card was denied for the depisit :( They don't tell you about the deposit until you arrive to check in. All my past stays were always awesome I won't let this past experience ruin one of my FAVORITE hotels to stay in. Beside rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect—close to everything I needed. The breakfast have plenty of options. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Positive: "" Negative: My debit card was charged two times but I actually had to pull cash out to pay for the room. I want my money back for the two rooms that I did not get to go to that my card was charged for.

The newly remodeled room was nice and cleanliness was fine.||We arrived late, around 8 pm, with no reservations. We had our 2 Labs with us, shocked by the $30 per dog fee. Of course I expected to pay for the dogs, but $30 per dog is pretty steep.||There is no designated dog area, no poop bag or garbage can to rid yourself of poop bags.||I carry my own bags, but not all owners do, there was dog poop everywhere. ||If you're going to charge a lot for dogs to stay, do something with that fee!

A great hotel! No elevator here but there’s only two floors. A cute cosy pool outside works great. 18 wheeler parking in a lot across the way shared with another hotel gives a tired trucker a chance to unwind after all that loony driving on I-5!
